What Is All Things Go? The Festival Behind the Merch
Clouds with eyes, skeletons and a lineup on the back: if you have one of our designs, you already know the look. Here's a short guide to the festival behind it, for new fans and old ones.
Where did All Things Go start?
All Things Go began as a music blog in Washington, D.C. The name comes from a line in Sufjan Stevens' song "Chicago": all things go, all things go. In 2014 the team put on a small festival of its own, the All Things Go Fall Classic, at Union Market in D.C. About 3,000 people came, and Future Islands and Tove Lo were on the bill.
How did it grow?
Bigger grounds. From 2016 to 2018 the festival ran at the larger Yards Park in D.C.
A new home. In 2021 it moved to Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland, an amphitheatre that holds about 20,000 people a day.
More cities. In 2024 All Things Go came to Forest Hills Stadium in New York for the first time, and in 2025 it added Toronto. That same year the Columbia festival grew to three days, with Noah Kahan, Doechii, Kesha, Clairo and Lucy Dacus among the acts.
What makes it different?
All Things Go is known for supporting LGBTQ+ artists and for lineups centred on women. The 2018 edition had an all-women lineup, curated by Maggie Rogers and Lizzy Plapinger, and since then its headliners have included Lana Del Rey, boygenius, Lorde and MUNA.
Why wear it?
Because a festival weekend goes by fast, and a good shirt keeps it going. Our designs carry the cloud, the skeletons, the Run Free horses and the 2025 lineups, printed to order on tees, long sleeves, crewnecks and hoodies.
